Medical Student Scholarships

The Medical Alumni Foundation presents over $800,000 in scholarships and awards each year to current Norton College of Medicine students who qualify based on individual scholarship criteria.    See the latest updated list of our 2022 Scholarship Winners.

See a list of Available Scholarships awarded for 2022.  You can also search for available scholarships based on your specific criteria using our Scholarship Search Tool.  Don't forget to check out the Frequently Asked Questions page for answers to common questions.  Applications for next year's scholarships will open in February 2023.

Important: Our scholarship application process has changed!  Before you fill out applications for individual scholarships, you must submit the new Scholarship General Information Form.  This new form allows you to submit your personal information, CV, and optional financial need statement in one convenient place before you apply for the scholarships you're interested in.  (The General Information Form is required in order for you to be considered for any scholarships, so be sure to complete it before the application deadline.)

  • Medical Alumni online community account: To create your online account, click here>>.   It may take 1-2 business days for your request to be processed. If you have any questions or difficulties with the form, or questions about scholarship requirements, please contact Ellen Edgerton at  *Please note online accounts are not available for incoming students.
  • Essays and Statements:  Please be sure your name is on the top of all essays or statements. Unless otherwise noted on the application form all essays should be typed, single-spaced, and no longer than 1 to 1 1/2 pages in length.

  • About Class Rank: If you would like to learn your current class ranking, please contact Jennifer Martin Tse, Registrar at for this confidential information. (Be sure to include your class year with your request.) However, please note that final eligibility consideration for merit-based scholarships will be based on your ranking as of the end of your Spring 2022 semester.
