For all those who invent, wish to invent and those who assist in commercializing inventions, Dr. Levine will describe his exciting discoveries, trials and tribulations as a country doctor and academic physician, and his journey as an inventor and scientist.  His inventions, such as the QBC Hematology System and QBC Malaria test, are used throughout the world.

The Presenter:
Dr. Levine is a graduate of SUNY Upstate Medical University, Class of 1966.  He completed his post-medicine school training in internal medicine at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York, after which he served fellowships in endocrinology and nephrology at Yale and was trained in radioimmunoassay at the Bronx VA Hospital.  He is this year's recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award from the Upstate Medical Alumni Association and the holder of hundreds of U.S. and international patents primarily in the fields of medical diagnostics and therapeutics.
